I've possibly had one of the worst days today but I am so glad it's Friday!
This is what I wore today...
I got my top in the Topshop sale for £25 from £55 and they only had an 8 left so I told myself it was fate. I love velvet, pretty collars and crosses so this top was perfect.
My jeans are plum coated cigarette jeans which almost look like leather. I'd been after a pair of trousers like this for a while and I nabbed these in the sale for £16.
Last but not least are my new velvet flatforms, after seeing these on ASOS I couldn't believe that they were only £25 which I got student discount off as well and I love them, I know they aren't everybodys cup of tea but they're super comfortable. Sadly, I should have got a 3 as they slip a little bit when I walk I've been noticing this a lot recently so maybe I should just start buying a size 3.
After seeing lots of people having beautiful nails on their blogs it made me want to buy a nail art pen so I did. It was £6 from ASOS and as you can see above I attempted polka dots. (not very well none the less) Hopefully I will get a bit more artistic with it.

Jeepers Creepers

In this outfit I am definitely rocking three of my favourite things - Creepers, Baroque print and black lipstick.
I have a really big thing about lipstick and I feel naked without it because to me it finishes off my outfit. I only usually wear black lipstick with something quite bright and very subtle make-up, and although this outfit is quite dark I feel that it goes quite nicely with it as my hairs lilac and I have the pink on my leggings and Creepers. I would never have thought I would ever wear black lipstick but I feel my style has changed and I know a lot of people wouldn't feel brave enough to wear it - if you are one of those people and you want to give it a try just go for it! I do tend to get a few looks when I wear it because I have lilac hair as well but it's not something that tends to bother me.
Next are my new babies - my creepers! I got them from Sarenza for £37.50 in the sale which was a complete bargain as creepers are at least £70. They only had a 4 or 5 left in stock so with me being a size 3/4 I was in luck! They are a tiny bit big for me so I have to do them up very tightly and I bought the black socks to wear with them as they feel them out a bit more and give them a girly edge while keeping my feet warmer. I have been after a pair of creepers for so long and these didn't disappoint - I know they have a grungy/gothy stereotype with them but I couldn't care and I love them none the less. Unfortunately for you guys they are no longer on the website.
Then there are the leggings which I got on eBay brand new for £6.99 (with delivery £1.99 on top - £8.98) . I bought them on Monday night and they arrived yesterday so they took less than 24 hours to come so I was very impressed with that. The print is so on trend and for that price you can't really go wrong. They also do them in blue, red and teal but with pink being my favourite colour I picked these ones. They do pretty much the same pair on Missguided for £10 excluding delivery so save your money and go to eBay as they'll definitely come quicker and they are cheaper including delivery.

What do you think about dark lipstick and are you also loving my new buys as much as I am?

Snow Chic

Coat - Topshop, Jumper - Topshop, Hat - Topshop, Jeans - River Island

So I thought I'd make use of the snow and show off my new Topshop buys. I know there is some mismatch with the colourings here but I find that when it's freezing and snow is on the ground colour coordination has to be pushed to the side for maximum warmth.
I have so many coats but not one that actually is a sensible colour, this navy one is as close as it gets to a colour that can be worn with most things. I think I need to invest in a black one for next winter.

My lovely Purple Cossack arrived yesterday and is only £7 from £22 in the Topshop sale, they still have some in stock so get on there quick!

I've actually had this jumper for a couple of weeks now but today is the first time I've worn it. I purchased it purposely to wear with these heart print jeans as I think the mint and the white go well together and the fact the hearts on the jeans are black it also matches the black 'O' on the jumper. As you all know I love pastel colours so this jumper was a must have and I would have bought it without needing something to wear with these jeans it just gave me a perfect excuse.

This jumper also from Topshop I think is gorgeous and I love the colour, but as they are quite similar and I've put myself on a clothing ban as of today I guess I better not buy it.

Although you can't really see it and my close up picture wouldn't upload for some strange reason I am wearing my MAC lipstick in 'Eloquent air' from their limited edition range 'Glitter and Ice' it is a gorgeous thick lipstick and it lasts for a long time without needing to be topped up. I've been told I look like an ice queen with this on and my lilac hair but I love it because it's so different from the usual pinks and reds that people wear.

Top Treats and Crazy Prints

I have bought myself so many clothes recently that I have a floordrobe and a wardrobe as I just don't have the room to put them anywhere. It's a shame that this does't even make me realise that I perhaps should stop at some point but it certainly isn't helped by Topshop having such lovely things that are screaming 'BUY ME' - unfortunately it comes to £351.50 :(

I am a massive fan of prints this season which is yet another big trend especially scarf print as you can see the leggings and blouse from Topshop above. Shirt - £40 and leggings - £20

I am a consistent buyer of Marie Claire each month and flicking through this March's issue I discover this page on prints. I love the majority of the items on this page but they are way out of my price range unfortunately.

Bomber jackets are also in this season, so what more could you want than a scarf print bomber jacket nailing two trends in one. This one in the picture below is £45 from River Island, it's not on their website but it will probably be found in store. I like what they have styled it with and feel it would go well with my lilac jumper and pink skirt from H&M which I have previously blogged about.

Happy Friday!

Pastels have definitely got to be my favourite trend for S/S as I just love the colours and they are all so summery. Of course I couldn't help but embrace the trend some more while shopping on ASOS (again) I went for the high waisted lilac jeans as I'm a sucker for a high waist as I think it gives you a bit more shape.

My silver knuckle ring I got free when I order a dress from Dixi which arrived yesterday and I will blog about soon.

I'm getting my hair re-dyed lilac tomorrow which I can't wait for as at the moment it's inbetween a white/grey then I'm off out tomorrow night.

So, what's your opinion on the pastel/candy coloured trend this season? I hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Pleather

Hair and make-up my lilac hair has faded out so quickly :(

Vest top - Miss Selfridge, Pleather Trousers - River Island, Chelsea Boots - Topshop, Ring - Miss Selfridge

I bought pleather trousers from the ASOS sale and although they look nice they are the most annoying pair ever. They are fastened by a zip at the side but with no button so if I sit down they fall down and end up half way down my bum because they aren't tight enough around the waist and when I bend over the zip comes down. My mums going to try and add a button to solve the issue but for River Island I expected better than this considering I have a pair from H&M which were only £15 full price and thy actually stay up and look as lovely.

I really liked this Marilyn Monroe vest from Miss Selfridge and I saw it shopping at our local shopping centre Bluewater on Christmas eve but couldn't buy it as I still had some last minute presents to get so got it after Christmas when I had some money. Here is the first time I have worn both items of clothing.

I wore my Chelsea boots to give my Dr Martens a rest but it has been absolutely freezing here at the moment and they didn't keep my feet warm at all in the -2 weather so I' thinking I'll have to stick to my DMs in future. I wore my fur coat from ASOS and my brown moose mittens also from ASOS to try and keep me warm! (below)

Today I have a day off from uni so will spend the day with my pug Albert, take him for a nice long walk and just do a bit of chilling. ASOS have 25% off for students at the moment but I'm on a clothing ban so this discount is torture as they're lots of stuff that I want on there :(

Black & Red

Denim Shirt Dress - River Island, Gilet - ASOS, Tights - ASOS, Ring - TopshopIn association to my previous post about tights, I was very happy to come home from uni to see the tights I had ordered from ASOS had arrived (above) I find nothing more exciting than my parcel arriving, some what loserish I know.

I was then looking through my wardrobe of what I was going to wear to uni tomorrow which included a pair of my new tights so this is what I have chosen to wear them with.

I love my faux fur gilet (which you can still get here for £22 with most sizes still available!) and I've decided to wear it with the outfit to give it a bit of colour and my red lipstick to match. I think my choice of clothing shows how easily a funky pair of tights can make your outfit look that little bit more interesting and give it a slight edge as overall without the tights it would be quite plain.

I'm saving my pink H.O.H suspender tights for when my creepers arrive which should be tomorrow - ahhh! I already have my outfit planned, how sad. Of course, outfit post to follow.

I have a slight well quite big obsession with tights at the moment as I think they can automatically update a plain/boring outfit. These pairs I have selected above are all from ASOS as you all know I am a massive fan and purchase things from there ALL the time. I know there are lots of websites specifically for tights but a few of the House of Holland pairs above are exclusive to ASOS - Numbers 3, 4 and 5 and if you're a student like myself you can get the extra 10% off and free delivery which is really good for these as they are quite pricey although they are great quality and definitely worth the money.

I have just ordered 1 and 5 so will know doubt be blogging about them soon when they arrive!

As Black As Your Hat

Every where I go I always get comments about looking like Lady Gaga and I really don't see it. Even more so since getting my lilac hair and full fringe.

I keep wearing my Dr Martens all the time, I just love the way they look with my outfits and the fact that they're black means I can wear them with anything. I know my outfit is pretty all round dark but I thought the Fur coat gave it some colour and I had red lipstick on with it. Some times I think all black outfits are nice especially as I went for my quirky House of Holland for Pretty Polly tights which I love along with all the others from this range. I actually picked these up for £3 from a vintage clothes store which was lovely!

The necklace and earrings that I have on I got from Topshop yesterday along with the two rings below. Topshop jewellery I think can be a little overpriced sometimes so I love it when I go in there and see they have a sale on it. I got all 4 pieces for £9 which saved me a fortune as the two rings were originally £10 each down to £2.50, the necklace was £12.50 down to £2.50 and the earrings were £7.50 down to £1.50 so I was pretty pleased with that.

One thing I just had to purchase yesterday was a new MAC black liquid eyeliner as mine had ran out the day before. I wear liquid eyeliner most days, but it's not an essential item of make-up for me unlike mascara, but I feel I always need it there just in case and then end up putting it nearly everyday anyway.

What do you think? Are there any items of make-up you have to replace as soon as they run out?

Feeling Blue

When I went out this is what I wore...

This dress is yet another item that I bought in the ASOS sale for £15.50 (still available in 3 colours) it's similar to two that I already own from Miss Selfridge but I loved the Cobalt Blue colour of this one. I teamed the dress with these tan leather heels from Office which I got in the sale for £16 in a size 4 but I could have gone for a smaller size.

The ring is from ASOS sorry the picture isn't that great but I thought it went well with the dress and matched the red lipstick.

I'm off to London to see 20 years of Dazed and Confused at Somerset House tomorrow has anyone been? So today I'm just going to do nothing except plan tomorrows outfit and no doubt buy even more clothes (online shopping is lethal!).

Candy Loving

Jumper - H&M, Skirt - H&M, Necklace - H&M

I'm loving pastel/candy colours for S/S and when I was at uni the other day I had some time to kill so I went in H&M. If anyone has been to Epsom you would know the only decent clothes shop is this, it devastated me that there was no Topshop or River Island.

I saw this jumper when I first walked in a long with a pastel pink one and it showed I'm clearly not the only person loving this trend as there were only a couple of jumpers left in both colours and the only small size they has was a six, so I grabbed it. H&M for basics is so good as they are mega cheap with the jumper only be £7.99, although I know the quality isn't great. I walked around the shop and spotted this skirt and instantly thought how great they go together, I especially loved the zips on the front and it was only £14.99. As you can see I wore it with black tights not out of preference more out of no other choice as they were the only pair I owned that looked acceptable and went with the colours. Due to the tights situation I teamed the outfit with the black bunny necklace that I already owned and accessorised with my black Marc Jacobs bag and Black Dr Martens.

Lilac is the new pink...

Me and my gorgeous baby boy Albert <3

So yesterday was the day of the 'new hair', I went from pink to lilac.

I really loved my pink hair but was considering going back blonde but definitely didn't feel as though I was ready to go back to 'normal' just yet so this is what I opted for and after 4 and a bit hours, this was the outcome as well as a full fringe! I'm starting to think that I actually prefer this to my blonde hair, it's different but not overly in your face.

Today I went into Uni and had my shorthand retake which is beyond hard. I'm feeling a bit more positive about it this time so fingers crossed I have actually passed.

On to the outfit...

Faux Fur Gilet - ASOS, Shirt - ASOS, Skinny Jeans - River Island, Ring - Miss Selfridge, Bag - My beloved Marc Jacobs

I am in love with faux fur this winter not only does it look great but it also keeps you super warm, so when I saw this dark burgundy coloured gilet in the ASOS sale I couldn't stop myself, especially when I consider how much I wear my white Dorothy Perkins one I bought last winter, this one will definitely get lots of wear - the £22 price tag definitely reeled me in.

I've also been after a black shirt for a while (also purchased in the ASOS sale for only £12.50 but unfortunately no longer available) as they can be worn with anything and this shirt is cotton type fabric down the front and around the top of the shirt (the collar and across the shoulders and tops of the arm) where as the rest of the shirt, sleeves, back etc are sheer so it can be dressed down for day but dressy enough to be worn out at night with a pencil skirt or maybe my silver metallic shorts.

The jeans I fell in love with when I went shopping on Christmas Eve but stopped myself from getting them as my money was to be spent on last minute Christmas presents, not myself : ( but as soon as money came my way I couldn't resist getting a bit of a haul and as you can see this is all new and there is still lots more to come! The were £40 which I guess is a little pricey and sadly you can't get student discount in River Island but I think they are super cute and very me, I'm a sucker for things like this.

They also do them in Black and Pink which I think I'm also going to buy, as pink is my favourite colour after all.

I got my new black patent Dr Martens for Christmas and literally haven't taken them off since, I just feel like they finish my outfits off perfectly and I really don't know what I did before I got them. They are also the comfiest shoes everrr!

That Monday Feeling...

I woke up this morning in a good mood until I remembered I had a terminology test at uni today and when I realised just how cold it was when I got out of bed.

Due to this I decided to bring out the fur coat which I got for Christmas which I knew was coming and it was killing me having to wait for it. I loved it even more today not just for the fact it's lovely but for the fact it kept me so warm. However, I'm not quite sure what made my tunic so hairy the coat or my pug...

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been extremely busy over this festive period! I hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas and New Year!

Back off to uni soon with revision to do for a terminology test and a shorthand retake which I sadly failed the first time round (so hard). The after all of that I start Styling at uni which I am more than excited for, which will be much more fun than the Fashion History we studied last term. I'm actually looking forward to going back...

I came across the brand Dixi on someones blog that I follow and thought I would check it out. They have some great pieces at really good prices!

Here are some bits I love below...

I love rings and I think these two are great, I love turquoise and I really like 'moustache' accessories!

I'm also in love with glitter shoes at the moment which you all know and these boots would be perfect for me to wear out for the party season as well as the Luxe Metallic dress! I also love the Navajo trend and think the cardigan is fab and is perfect for the colder weather.

When I was looking on the site a couple of weeks ago, of course I couldn't help but buy some things and here is what I bought...

This cream lace dress (below) I loved as soon as I saw it because I am a massive fan of lace as it's so girly and feminine and I really wanted one that was casual enough to wear during the day and this is how I styled it...

Snakeprint

Cardigan - H&M, Necklace - Topshop, Trousers - Zara

This was was obviously before I dyed my hair but I thought I'd share this outfit with you as I haven't posted about snakeprint or these trousers since I've had them. This has been a massive trend for this A/W and I really love it and some can say it has replaced leopad print but I still love leopard print.

As it is quite a bold print I just chose to team it with a plain white tee and a navy cardigan due to this I added the necklace (which is swallows if you can't see properly)

What's your view on snakeprint?

All About The Skirt

Sorry about the grumpy look on my face haha. But this is what I wore with my asymmetric midi skirt. I'd been after one for ages as I think they are lovely and it was only £17 in the Miss Selfridge sale a couple of weeks ago. I know they are perhaps more of a summer thing but I love the way it can also be worn in winter with tights and boots.

I bought my Vera Moda dress from ASOS and it was the colour 'raspberry'and the lace collar that I most liked about it.

My shoes I blogged about previously just after I bought them and they are such good quality and have a really thick sole which is super comfy.

My leather jacket which you have all probably seen before which is 100% real leather and I snapped it up in the Christmas sales about 2/3 years ago for £10 from £130.

My turban headband I got for Christmas last year and is also from ASOS.

Recently, I have bought a lot of skin revealing dresses, in the form of cut out or mesh. I just love them and think they look great. The photos with the mint green, grey and black bodycon mesh insert dress is what I wore out on Saturday night. I wore it with my grey and black leopard print laced boots from ASOS - I love the chunky heel and platform. I bought it for £18 in the sale and it only being left in a size 8 I told myself it was fate and that I had to have it.

Secondly is the red criss cross dress from ASOS you can get it in black or red and is only £25. Then there's the top colourful mesh insert dress which I blogged about previously when I wore it out for my 19th birthday which is my favourite one.

Below are some I have picked out from Miss Selfridge which are lovely the cream one being only £15 in the sale

This one being fab as it is in the form of my favourite print!

Albert the Pug

This is the reason why I haven't blogged in a couple of days - my gorgeous little boy Albert the Pug (who is snoring next to me as I type!). It is true what everyone says, they are such characters and they soon have you in a state of puppy love! I love him so much. After persuading my mum and step dad for so long about letting me get one, they finally gave in and I couldn't be happier. I love picking him up and giving him cuddles all the time. He is getting good with his toilet training as he always runs in a circle when he needs the toilet so we know when to put him outside, so there are little accidents. I spoilt him on Sunday and got him some clothes, bed and his new collar. His collar being the red diamond one you can see above, the bed you can see in the pics is his new one and his coat he is sporting is new :)

I shall be doing an outfit post in the next couple of days :)

Despite being 19 I am without a doubt a massive child at heart. I love anything Disney, Hello Kitty, Barbie or any clothing/accessories with cute animals on. Due to this, I couldn't resist buying these super cute mittens in the ASOS 14 hour 50% off Winter Essentials sale on Sunday for only £6! They also do Snake ones which are also sweet but they didn't match any of my coats! :( Although no longer 50% off both pairs are still reduced, so I definitely recommend you purchase a pair! I have a massive thing for accessories at the moment especially mittens and scarves as they are so important to keep you warm in this chilly weather and make me feel super snug.

P.s I would just like to let you all know I am getting a Pug today! He is a little boy and I am naming him Albert! I shall post some pics up of him soon, I'm so excited!!!

Buys this week

I thought I would share some of my purchases I have got this week with you all.

The bronze glitter loafers pictured above are by Dune and I got them in The ASOS Savvy Sunday sale which was 50% off party shoes! They were £32.50 down from £65, they can still be bought here but with only 20% off. I know I have mentioned previously how much I love glitter shoes for this season, I think they are fab and a trend that I am a huge big fan of. Dune have some great shoes for A/W and I am loving them all.

Then secondly, I got some more feathers for my hair and I'm so thankful to have a 'fat' one! I shall post a picture once I put the extra ones in. I got some extra micro rings this time as so I can put them in separately.

Have you bought anything yet this week and do you love glittery shoes this season?

Wonder Wedges

With winter being the party season we will all have lots of nights out coming up and New Years Eve always calls for a bit of sparkle in both the shoe and dress department, so whilst shopping online at Miss Selfridge the other day I spotted the gorgeous wedges pictured above.

Choosing black means that you will only need to buy one pair of shoes to take you through the party season as they will go with whatever colour dress you choose to wear and I love to wear wedges out at night as they are so much more comfortable.

Perhaps a little pricey at £85, Christmas is coming and I know these will be on the top of my wish list as I will get plenty of wear out of them and not just over the Christmas period but for many nights out in the months that follow.

Another thing that has made its way onto my Miss Selfridge wanted list is this Faux Fur Gilet. I already have a cream one from last winter which I picked up in the Dorothy Perkins sale for £10, but I am definitely in the market for one in a darker colour.

I actually tried this gilet on when I was shopping a couple of weeks ago and not only does it look great, it also feels lovely. The colours are perfect for autumn and can it worn with so many outfits, I know I will get plenty of wear out of it. The only thing that stopped me buying it was the price tag at £65, not because it wasn't worth it but because I am having to seriously cut down on what I spend on myself with Christmas coming up.

However, I couldn't resist a sneaky little bargain purchase, I managed to grab the Miss Selfridge dress I bought in pink to wear out for my birthday in September, in green (I will be posting about this soon) and I found this gilet had been reduced from £65 to £45 as it now has £20 off!

It is such a great piece and perfect for the colder weather that we have been having recently, it would seem silly not to purchase it, especially with faux fur being such a big trend this A/W.

Mustard

I thought I would share one of my uni outfits that I have worn this week with you. Top and Trousers are both ASOS. I teamed them together as I always like to add a hint of colour to colours such as black and white to liven my outfits up a little. The trousers are checked with a black stripe running down either side of the legs, which I think are gorgeous and they have a great fit.

My lipstick is Rimmel from the new 'Kate' range and I absolutely love it as it goes with a lot of things and the colour is perfect for Winter (Rosetto 04) I don't usually go for cheapish brands I'm more of a Benefit or MAC kinda girl but as I was out locally and really wanted it, I got it. However, I'm glad I bought it as it is a good lipstick.

These are the fabulous boots I teamed my outfit with! (click here) When I discovered them on Topshop for only £36 also knowing I would get 10% off with my student card I couldn't resist. They are surprisingly easy to get on and also have the comfort factor! As glitter footwear is all on this season how could I not get these babies especially when in the style of a Chelsea boot - shoe candy indeed.

Feather Ray

I've been going through this stage recently where I'm feeling a bit fed up with my hair and really want a change.

Being a natural blonde and having highlights to lighten my hair, it's always difficult when I want to change it, because if you go dark it's extremely hard to get it back to the shade of blonde you had before.

I was contemplating dying my hair red and getting a full fringe but after being told my hair would take ages and ages to eventually go back blonde without lots of damage, I decided against it but still wanted a change, so this is what I decided upon...

It was something I'd seen on Topshops page on Facebook about this brand call 'Feather Ray' it was this picture below that caught my eye:

After seeing this I decided to visit their website where there are a wide variety of colours and styles to choose from (click here) and I decided after how gorgeous they look and how they instantly update your hair and give it a breath of fresh air, I decided to buy some.

They do different lengths starting at seven inches (£15) but if like me you have long hair you can opt for the extra long thirteen inces plus (£25) pack. So I decided to go for the extra long Naturals Mix Red.

You get seven feathers of varied lengths and you get the application tools included (4 micro rings and the application tool).

Mine arrived today and here is the outcome...

I decided to just put them in the one side of my hair for now but definitely going to get some more. I really love them and although perhaps a little pricey, they are great quality and can last forever if looked after well. You can wash them, straighten them, curl them - whatever you like they just act the same as your hair, so without a doubt, worth the money. I thought they would be really hard to put in but after watching the tutorial which they have on their website, I put them in without any difficulty!

So what do you think? I hope you love them as much as I do.

Winter Warmth

Knitwear I feel is the winter essential for everyone, not only does it keep you extra warm but you can also purchase knitwear in super cute prints!

A gorgeous jumper or cardigan can dress up any outfit when teamed with a simple pair of jeans and boots. You can go for slim fitting knitwear or loose baggy knitwear (or you can buy slim fitting ones in a bigger size) depending on what you feel is most comfortable.

Above are a few I have selected all from Topshop (here) as I feel they have the cutest knitwear on the High Street which is always of a high quality. The bunny jumper and the fairisle print jumper are my two personal favourites, which I plan on purchasing soon to add to my essential winter list. You don't always have to go for patterned knitwear I also love the plain mustard jumper above as although plain and simple it will still get you looking lovely. Mustard is also a very in colour this season so keeping you very on trend while teamed with your favourite pair of bottoms (mine being my black leather trousers) you're sure to be looking and feeling great. Although perhaps some would think is a little pricey at £38 - Topshop are student friendly so you are able to get a cheeky extra 10% off and unlike other high street stores which are cheaper you won't have to buy cheap and buy twice.

dress - ASOS shoes - Miss Selfridge

This shift dress was another item purchased in the ASOS 'you choose' sale for £8 in which I teamed with these gorgeous silver brogues purchased for £12 from £28. You can still buy it here but for £19. Despite how lovely they look, they do not have the comfort factor! They absolutely killed my poor feet when I wore them, I am hoping I will be able to break them in although I am dreading putting them on my feet again. So I was a slightly disappointed but no pain no gain I suppose!

Do you have any shoes that look lovely but they hurt to wear?!

This outfit is completely from Zara - the top came from their TRF collection for £9.99 and the bright red skinny jeans I got in Zara in Marbella about 4 years ago when coloured jeans were in last time. It was nice already having them and not having to buy a new pair to tap into the trend and I find the good thing about not having worn clothes that have been put away for a long time, is that they almost feel new again!

I thought I would team the two together as I always think leopard print looks good with red. I finished off the outfit with my brown leather jacket from River Island and my pony skin leopard print loafers by Dolce Vita (shown above) purchased here although in the sale for £42 from £70, they were an absolute steal in the ASOS 'you choose' one day sale for £14!

To finish off I wore my red lipstick in 'Cherry Bomb' from the Collection 2000 range at Superdrug for £2.99.

Saturday Night.

I was so excited that loads of my friends were coming home from Uni for a night out to celebrate on of our friends 19th birthday and one of my sisters was also out at the same venue, so a fun night was had by all.

Apart from the excitement of catching up with my besties, was the fact that I had the opportunity to wear another bargain Asos purchase! I know I have been really bad buying loads of clothes lately, but one of my sisters bought a Lipsy dress in Cobalt Blue just before she went back to Uni at the beginning of October and then when Asos had that mega 70% off one day sale (from which I bought 10 things for £79!) I couldn't resist buying the exact same one in bright pink for £8! I've got a a bit of a thing for dresses with cut out detail at the moment and have a couple by Aqua Couture which I love. My sister is not too happy, but I am!

Cosy Coats

With Winter now unfortunately approaching, I have bought my essential Winter purchase (or 2) which is of course a new coat.

Coat shopping can be quite difficult as there always tends to be so many I want and they can also be a little bit pricey.

So when I went shopping a couple of weeks ago I had a little bit more money than usual and decided to get my winter coat then.

So this one above is the one I decided to purchase. It has a lovely shape to it and as soon as I tried it on I knew I had to get it. The only downside to it, is that it isn't overly thick but I have so many jumpers I can team it with for maximum warmth! Also colour is really important as where a coat is something you wear everyday, you want to ensure you can team it with the majority of your wardrobe which is why I picked this colour above as both the Navy and Camel are neutral colours and can be teamed with pretty much anything.

Then as already mentioned in a previous post - ASOS had their 'You Choose' sale with up to 80% off and of course I couldn't help myself...

This coat above is one of the items I bought, it was only £17 reduced from £85 for 8 hours only so how could I not?! It's hard to get anything for £17 these days, let alone a decent coat. Plus, it is gorgeous and it's thicker than my other one so depending on the weather I can switch between the two. You can still buy it here unfortunately for not as cheap but still half price at £42.50.

I can't believe that it was my 19th birthday on thursday! It seems like only yesterday that it was my 18th birthday party, or that I was 16 and it was my school prom!

To celebrate I went out with a couple of close friends as most of my school friends have already left for Uni.

I wore a new dress from Miss Selfridge and black wedges from a local shoe shop. I decided to wear my hair up in a bun for a change using a bun ring that I got from New Look and I quite like it.

Starting University

Monday was my first day at University.

I have started my degree in Fashion Journalism at Epsom UCA.

Sadly I didn't get accomodation so have to travel each day. This week I am only in three days and on my first day (Monday) things were a bit rushed in the morning, so there was no time for a photo opportunity, so this is my outfit from Day Two.

The t-shirt is Asos (old) but the scarf was a recent gift from my Mum from H&M, the pleated palazzo pants are from Asos and my leopard print brogues were from a local boutique at the bargain price of only £7 and will feature heavily in this autumns outfit posts no doubt, I love them!

Has anybody else started Uni and like me, do you find it hard being away from your school and your best friends? I love the excitement that the future holds and the fact I shall be doing something I have always worked towards but growing up and facing change is hard sometimes.

"To Buy..."

As pay day has arrived, of course I couldn't help myself and after looking through the ASOS mag I had to go online and find some of the gorgeous pieces I had seen in there! So I thought I would share some of them with you which you can see above!

I'm using the whole "well uni's coming up so of course I need more clothes" to justify all of my purchases due to not needing them or having the space in my wardrobe for them!

I have such a big thing for shoes at the moment and when I saw the tapestry wedges (top left) i fell in love! I think they could be worn with so many things and are suitable for many different occasions! Although they are £60 due to being a student I get 10% off and ASOS do have free delivery, so of course I will be buying those.

I've always had a big thing for Leopard print which is why I have picked these wet look leopard print jeans and the leopard print slippers, I feel leopard print gives an edge to any perhaps plain/boring outfit.

The dress in the centre is similar to some Aqua Couture dresses I own with the cut out in the centre which is a look I really like in dresses, so this one for only £20 and yes not even in the sale was a definite yes for my "to buy" list.

Next up the shirt...it has a butterfly stencil print to it which you can't see very well in the collage but I yet again love shirts with skinny jeans and some form of boots for the Autumn/Winter and my beloved leather jacket!

Well the lace up boots are just gorg and I really love the chunky heel and platform. Perfect to finish off any outfit. However, a little pricey at £75!

The End Of An Era

After finishing my last year of school and with A Levels officially over, we had a Prom to celebrate the end of an era and for the chance to spend one last time together as a year group.

As we are an all girls school we're all very close, so leaving everyone and school after 7 years is awfully sad. Some of the girls within the year organised our night out and it was on a party boat on the River Thames in London called "The Golden Sunrise". It was an amazing night and I'm glad the thunder storms and lightening managed to stop as I was a bit worried we would get struck or something!

The dress I wore was by Aqua Couture which I purchased off of ASOS. I had wanted the dress for ages and it went out of stock in my size a while back but then suddenly came back in about a month ago. It is a darker red than the pictures show, where it looks a bit orangey and the Black heels are by Kurt Geiger from last year but have only been worn once or twice.

I love Aqua Couture, this is the second dress I have bought by them because I think they really stand out and have a bit of a "wow" factor about them. When I bought my first one, which is black, I had three people ask me on a night out if it was "Aqua" and one of them was a boy!

The cut of the dress and the way it is only attached slightly at the front means that from the back it looks like a top and a skirt, and I love the shaping of the skirt itself.
It was such a good night and now I have Ibiza to look forward to in 2 weeks time, I cannot wait!

Can't believe I haven't done a blog post in such a while! Just had a busy couple of months with school and work etc! Now that all my exams are over (while I hope have gone very well - fingers crossed!) and Summer has started for me I have lots of time on my hands to carry on with my blog! I don't think I mentioned that I got into UCA Epsom to do my dream course of Fashion Journalism which I will be starting in September, which I am very excited about!

I am off to Ibiza in a couple of weeks with my friends which has been something lovely to get me through the stress of this exam period and here you can see above, are a couple of lovely things I have purchased...

The Fringe Bandeau top I actually have in White but they don't have that one on the website, however it was only £5 in the sale and I think it will look cool in Ibiza worn out at night with some shorts and a lovely tan. Then there's the Cream Fringe Top which is from the River Island sale for £8 along with the Floral Jumpsuit which was a bargain at £10! and the Beaded Fringe Dress which was £12. The Pineapple Playsuit is also from River Island but full price at £16.99. The Trilby (£15 full price) and Gold Sandals (£10 sale) are both from Miss Selfridge both perfect must haves for holiday. From Topshop is the must have Black High Waisted Leather Shorts which are £48 but I caught Topshop on a cheeky 20% student discount day! Lastly are the Floral Espadrilles which I just thought were super cute!

Going Dotty at Marc Jacobs

The Marc Jacobs A/W 11 collection recently shown at New York Fashion Week was said to have been inspired by 'sex shops and insane asylums'.

One of the main elements that appeared throughout the show were polka dots, although I don't understand why or how the spotty fabric could be associated with the two things said to have inspired the designer .

The Dots appeared large and small upon the disciplined clothing. All the models were completely covered from head to toe with no flesh showing and if the clothes were not made from polka dot fabric, the models were wearing block colour dresses and sporting polka dot tights, hats or polka dot bags.

However, this is not the first time polka dots have appeared in one of Marc Jacobs collections as the first time he showed in New York back in the 1980's, polka dots also featured heavily in his designs.

I wonder why it is that polka dots crop up in his collections every now and again? Could it be that as with most other trends they seem to be on a cycle, what was fashionable in the seventies is now fashionable again for this summer and we have just seen the Burberry 60's inspired Jean Shrimpton collection on the London Catwalk. Perhaps it could be that Marc Jacobs was born in the sixties and the clothing worn by the females around him during his childhood have had a large impact on his life as a designer, I guess we will never know.

Love for Leather Jackets

Today is Thursday and i'm feeling a little fed up but with it being nearly the weekend and Half term I guess it isn't all bad!

This was my school outfit for today and I know I have a collectin of dresses with a Peter Pan collar and this is just one of them. I know the dress is very plain but I feel that Leather Jackets just automatically give it a sort of edge despite the fact the dress itself lacks anything special about it, which is something that a Cardigan just couldn't do.

My Leather Jacket is from River Island and I must say I love it very much.

Topshop Treats

I was just having a look on the Topshop website and these are a couple of things I've come across that I like.
I think they've had those Jeans in past seasons as I feel like I've wanted them for a long time!
I'm in need of Cardigans at the moment and I like the colour of this one.
I think the Shirt is really cute and Summery and would go nice with a pair of Chinos.
I also, have got into Lipstick a lot recently and I really like the colour of this one. The fact that Topshop Make-up is made by MAC makes it even better.
My accessories collection has grown a lot recently and I think wearing a lot of rings together looks really good and this one is super sweet.
Lastly, there are the shoes. I really need a White pair of Flats and as I'm not a fan of Pumps (especially in the colour white) these Shoes will be nice for Summer.

As you may have realised over my last few blog posts I've been buying a lot of clothes recently and these are another few new items.

The Gilet is from Dorothy Perkins, i don't generally shop there or look on their website but my mum was browsing on there and came across it, and the fact it was only £10 in the sale but £8 with my student discount of course at that price I couldn't resist buying it.

The Grey Cable Knit Leggings are from ASOS (surprise surprise) and this is the first time I've worn them but I think they go pretty well with the outfit. I decided to team the whole outfit together with my Floral Dr Martens as I felt I needed a bit more White going on!

Also, for a bit of colour I added my Pink Michael Kors toy watch, my Pink floral headband and bright Pink lipstick

Oh and the Panda ring is from Accessorize (I didn't wear it that way round but did it so i could take a picture) :)

As per usual I can't help but buy clothes. Whenever I have money and I see something I like, I just have to buy it!

Both the Skirt and jumper above are from New Look and although I don't generally shop there, I had just got paid and was in town so I popped in and came out with these two items.

I really needed a black Skirt anyway as I feel they are essential and had been wearing my sisters when she was home from Uni. I couldn't resist the Jumper as I love the whole 'Collegiate Style' that is around at the moment.

ASOS love yet again...

Despite the disappointment with the ASOS Cape I ordered (which is in the post below), I still love ASOS and the other items that arrived with the Cape.

You may remember my post on things that I wanted to get from ASOS and so pay day arrived and of course I couldn't help but purchase some of the things especially due to the fact they has decreased in price plus the 20% discount I receive with being a student!

So the things I bought:

1.)Pink Heart Jumper

2.)Pleated Blue Chinos

I did also buy some headbands, the Cape and some Grey Cable Knit leggings, which when I wear I'm sure I shall blog about! (although the Cape has been sent back).

So I ended up weaing this on my trip to the doctors and the only thing was that when the Jumper arrived i didn't realised it was cropped as it didn't specify on the website, so it was a good job the Chinos are high waisted!

I wore this with my Brown River Island Brogue boots and my thin Tan belt which you can see in the picture (also from ASOS).

My new headband is from New Look.

The Cape that turned out not as expected

I had wanted this Cape from the moment I saw Olivia Palermo in the Asos magazine wearing in and was so excited when payday arrived and the Cape was half price in the sale for only £40! I was so excited when I got home today and saw my parcel, I just couldn't wait to put it on.......

but when I did, I hated it! This is what it looked like. I can only describe it that it hangs on me, is shapeless and it's made of the thinnest material ever. I don't know who would have paid full price (£80) for it. I at least expected something that would keep me warm but it is awful to touch and reminds me of a cross between a sack and a horses blanket.

Here is my mum fitting into the size 8 cape and it actually fits her better than me and she's a size 16! I thought it was massive and I was right - sorry mum!
To be honest I think the only person that can pull it off is Olivia Palermo, I bet they made her a cashmere one.

Every child grows up, except one

So everyone has an obsession at one point and mine currently has to be the "Peter Pan" collar on dresses and tops. They seem to be everywhere at the moment and I can't help but want to buy one every time I see one either online or in a shop!
I feel that the "Peter Pan" style is just such a classic and girly look. The colours of the dresses/tops shown above are perfect for this season - with bright bold colours, nudes and a splash of blue to brighten up your wardrobe they are exactly what you want to ensure you are bang on trend this season with the colour as well as style.

These 2 dresses are 2 that I have already purchased both in the sale. The black one is from Miss Selfridge and the Grey one is from ASOS.

ASOS has definitely got to be one of my favourite places to shop, not only do they have gorgeous clothes but they are always a reasonable price (the fact they have 20% student discount is always nice!).
Here are a few things I want at the moment and will be purchasing on payday - hopefully!

ASOS Embellished Collar Shift Dress - £18
I currently have a "thing" for a 'Peter Pan' collar which I shall enlighten you on in my blog post tomorrow! I just absolutely adore this dress and it would be perfect for a night out. It is reduced to £18 in the sale...I can't really go wrong!

ASOS Knitted 60s Shift Dress - £36
Yet another dress with a collar - surprise surprise! However, it can't just be me having so much love for it, as it's out of stock in pretty much every size, so I am having to check constantly to see if they get any back in, in a size 8! The contrast in colours between the dress and the collar, makes it look really striking. They do the dress in 2 other colours but it's not quite as striking and I feel that this colour is perfect for spring and summer with all the lovely bright block colours that will be around.

ASOS Cotton Duffle Cape - £65
I have wanted a cape for such a long time but never actually got round to getting one but now the weathers going to be getting a bit warmer (not that it feels like it) I still feel that a Cape is perfect for Spring weather, because having no sleeves it can be a real issue when it is cold. I love the whole outfit the model has on if I'm honest, and may have to steal the look and buy the whole lot!

ASOS Heart Jacquard Cropped Jumper - £30
How cute is this jumper? They do it in Black with cream hearts but with me being the girly girl I am, of course I had to go for the pink! I think this would look great teamed with black skinnies or a pleated skirt (which they also do a lovely knitted one on ASOS) teamed with my Black knitted Headband and my River Island lace up brogue boots.

ASOS Pleat Front Chino - £30
I adore the whole 'masculine' look on girls and think that this outfit looks great.

ASOS Panda Sweat - £25
This jumper, is just me all over if I'm honest! I have such a big panda obsession and have loads of panda accessories such as a panda hat, panda snood, panda mittens, panda ring etc etc. So this would really match my collection! I would team this with the chinos above.

So this is my new shirt from ASOS, by the brand 'Vila' as it was only £6 i thought i'd buy it. Well it arrived yesterday and it was surprisingly much better than I initially had thought. I love the bright colour of it which is perfect for the bright colour theme of this season. I wore it with black skinny jeans, as I thought it would make the colour stand out much more and i teamed it with my tan belt and gorgeous Marc Jacobs bag (which is also black). So just thought i'd do another outfit post today and show you what i wore to school today.
Top - ASOS. The 3rd picture, i took without my Snood on so you could read what it says - "wish you were mine"
Leggings - French Connection (they do actually have gold studs on but you cant really see them in the picture)
Snood - River Island. I love Snoods at the moment and think they look so much better with outfits than just ordinary scarves, so you may be seeing them cropping up more frequently within my outfit posts!
Ring - Accessorize. I bought this when I was sale shopping just after christmas and as soon as I saw it, i knew I had to buy it as I absolutely love statement rings and thought it was good for £8.
It's pretty plain and simple, which is why I teamed it with my Floral Dr Martens which I wore in a previous post (if you are wondering what they look like) to give it a little more of an edge. I also accessorised it with my pink bow headband (ASOS) and pink lipstick to give it some extra colour.

So thought i'd do a post on my outfit at school today.
My knitted headed band is from Asos which I love and not only does it look good, it keeps my ears nice and warm!
Then there is my Bambi top which is from Mango, which I grabbed in the sales a couple of weeks ago after first seeing in last Summer when I was on holiday in Marbella, so I have wanted it for ages!
Then the skirt is from H&M, black skirts are so essential as you can wear them with everything and anything and the tan belt I have on is also from Asos.
Then the tights are from River Island aswel as the Brogue boots, which are extremely comfortable and look lovely with a lot of my clothes and which I feel are perfect for this outfit.

My magazine...

I have been trying to think of ideas for my fashion portfolio with my University interview coming up in February. I need lots of things to put in and decided to try and do a Magazine cover with a picture of myself and after spending a whole day on it, this is what I have created.
My sister helped with the photography and it took several attempts to get the right picture and lots of different dresses, but this is the final outcome.
What do you think? Have you had to do a portfolio for a fashion course? any advice would be appreciated.

Third day back at school this week and my work load is beyond ridiculous, not good! On the plus side my portfolio seems to be coming together much better now after being sent some press releases which I did while doing work experience at Isabella Oliver which i can add to it! Only downside being they sent me a 5 instead of a 3, thick socks are deffinately necessary and i didn't want to send them back and I wanted to wear them with my outfit the next day!

I can't believe its been so long since my holiday. One thing I was dying to do when I got back was to show off my tan with some belly tops and picked up a couple in New Look.
This one has "The Summer of Love" slogan, worn here with Warehouse Boyfriend Jeans.

I loved this cute little floral ruffled one, worn here with old Topshop shorts.

Not much chance of wearing them now, but at least I have my family holiday next week to top up the tan and wear the belly tops again!

Got up extra early this morning to take a picture of my outfit today. I am leaving home at 6.30 for the journey to London for my work experience and with the tube aswell, I don't actually get into the office until about 9.10am.

I am working in a PR department of a fashion designer and loving it. I have my own email address, desk and phone. I have helped out and done lots of different things, which I will tell you about when I have more time because I am not getting home until 8pm, so I am very tired with no time for blogging really.

So today I am wearing some new sale purchases. I have wanted some Harem trousers for ages but as I had lots of new dresses for my holiday, I haven't been able to get any, sooner. These are by Vero Moda from House of Fraser £8.80 and the top is from Warehouse and was reduced to £10, it comes up quite tight, if you buy one, you may want to go up a size. I am wearing a vest top underneath as it is quite low. Sandals were bought in the New Look sale for £6 a couple of weeks ago. I have been wearing my hair quite messy lately but decided to straighten it today.

Are you all having a good week and has anybody else got work experience this summer?

Flinstone t-shirt bought on holiday, on the way home wearing with shorts from Reiss and my Juicy Couture bag, I had for my 17th birthday last year.

I haven't blogged in a little while as i've been on holiday and been busy with school etc. But I have now finished for 6 weeeksssss!!
So for this post I thought i'd just share with you some of my Ayia Napa photo's and you can see some of my outfits! Virtually everything I am wearing was bought new for my holiday and most of it online. I went with four of my friends with my eldest sister and four of her friends so ten of us all together.

In February when I went to LFW and I went to the Boudoir lingerie event at Sommerset house in which I went to see a brand call Playful Promises. They have such a lovely underwear and swimwear range and the bikini's are perfect for Summer, the bikini above is the one I want to get for my holiday! They're so pretty and girly and perfect for me. Holiday!!

Ok so I am off on my first girly holiday to Ayia Napa at the beginning of July and I really cannot waittt! However, I am slightly scared at being away from my mum for a week. Although I am 18 in September I really am a big baby at heart!
So as i'm getting way to over excited at the fact I have only 2 and a half week until I will be sunning it up, I thought i'd show you some of my holiday purchases so far...

Firstly is this scribble peplum dress for the evening which is by Therapy (House of Frasiers own brand) which I got for £10 in the sale from £45, lovely!

These I got for £8 on amazon. Can't go wrong with a black pair of gladiators!

This top is by Motel which I am planning on wearing om the plane!

This is 1 bikini of many which is by Vitamin A (a brand worn by WAGS as my mother often tells me!) I love the gold rings on it. The picture makes it look black but it is infact chocolate brown.

These are must haves for anyone going on holiday, perfect for around the pool and for the beach.

This is another new bikini by Caprice as she does her own underwear and swimwear range which i love.

This is just a basic white boobtube from H&M, can't go wrong with one on holiday and for only £2.99 it was quite the barg!

Then lastly is a bag from H&M which is going to be my pool/beach bag and it was infact only £1.99 and the moeny goes to UNICEF, so you can't really go wrong there.

So this is everything I have so far and have a few more bits coming which have been ordered!

Japanese anyone?

I'm sorry i haven't posted for a while but i'm back on it and will be posting regularly again!

So recently after Lady Gaga decided to graffiti her £3,000 Birkin bag with Japanese writing it seems to be that Japanese is where it's at! Also with Gaga championing Japanese style when she was seen pictured in a dress made of plush Hello Kittys! Dan Bailey who runs Japanese style blog (http://www.tokyodandy.com/) says that 'People are getting used to fashion that's more theatrical - Japan's been doing it for years.'

Gaga's style seems to be down to her stylist and good friend, Nicola Formichetti. Nicola, who is half Japanese herself and is fashion director of Vogue Hommes Japan.

So not only are Japanese looks inspired by Lady Gaga but also Henry Holland as he says he's inspired by Japanese fashion aswel as Katie Hillier who is creative consultant for Marc by Marc Jacobs who says 'Collaborations are a big thing and they love craft and tradition...and there's a whole store called Kiddy Land that is full of brilliant stuff - from full-size animal suits to Lego earphones - how coud you not be inspired by that?'.

For next season there seem to be more Japanese collection coming through than ever before. Japan, today is said to account for between 30-40% of luxury goods sales worldwide so this could be why so many designers are choosing to spend more time there. Gucci's Frida Giannini, Alber Elbaz, Dio's Kris Van Assche and Vivienne Westwood have all visited Tokyo recently.

The influencing has been streching to X factor's Diana Vickers and Marina and the Diamonds as they have both been spotted recently in hooded tops with animal ears. Christina Aguilera is even wearing Japanese designer Atsuko Kudo's rubber dress on the cover of her new album. 'Japanese fashion style is fearless, fun and fresh,which is why so many trends start over here' explains Dan Bailey.

A boring History one, so just thought I would check out the shoes after last weeks FC bargain, only to find they have done it again, with a £22 pair! Originally from £110! As Big Sis bought me the others, I really think Mummy should cough up for these. I so can not get over these Shoe Bargains on Amazon, who would have thought it.

I've actually wanted these French Connection heels for so long but at £140 they were quite expensive! But then my mum recently came across them on Amazon for £28! Which then my older sister purchased and I really wasn't amused. Hers arrived and as she knew i've loved them and wanted them for ages she offered to buy me a pair! Which she did and they have now arrived. They had them in purple or black, she got the black but I had to get the purple as they were out of stock in my size in black. Although they are ridiculously high at just under 6 inches they are actually quite comfortable and easy to walk in, surprisingly.

After seeing an article on Draped Jackets in last weeks Grazia, my Mum found one in the sale section of a local boutique last week, £39 reduced to only £10! I had seen it in the shop window before Xmas over a Lipsy top and I got the top but never the jacket, until now! It is black, in a microfibre fabric with brass circle embellishment round the edges. London Fashion Week

Sorry for not posting lately have had such a busy weekend and week with lots of homework nights out and a trip to London Fashion Week.
My mum got invited to a show and got sent 2 tickets so lucky for me I got to go along with her. The show was Falguni and Shane Peacock couture which was held at Bloomsbury Square. It was amazing to see a live catwalk show the clothes were also amazing just what I need for a night out clubbing! We also got to look around an exhibition and see some new designer ranges for Autumn and Winter.
After that we headed over to Somerset house where again my mum had been invited to the Boudoir lingerie event,by a company called Playful promises. It was so funny because when my mum got the invite I actually had a pair of their knickers on that I bought in Topshop last year! When we were checking in at reception one of the ladies gave me this London Fashion week bag, which I couldn't resist taking to school and showing off Monday morning!

All in all a really exciting day which will give me lots to put on my personal statement for uni.

I thought i'd share some of my outfits from the weekend with you. Sorry the pictures aren't overly great to see the dresses.
The digital print dress is from Oasis. I love it. I even tried out purple lipstick with it, although you can't really see it in the pictures.
Then the other dress from the weekend is a black lace dress, I know you can't see it very well with me sitting down, but yet again I love it and I think it helps more that I got it for £10 i the River Island sale when I got all those bits with an extra 50% off, you can't go wrong! I think the detail and the lace on the sleeve really makes it aswel.
However, I need some new outfits.

Just purchased some jewellery on Accessorize. They have loads of cute pendants and stuff on there I couldn't pick what to get! So these are the things I did get. I absolutely love pretty stuff for my hair so obviously couldn't resist buying the corsage chain bando which was £8, the bracelet which is super cute was also £8 and the necklace I fell in love with! I'm a sucker for anything that involves Paris and the Eiffel Tower so obviously I couldn't resist and at only £6 how could i?!

So I was looking on the internet and came across this lattice pullover by Alexander Wang which I personally think is really cool but as its $550 I think it's a little out of my price range!! But the new Asos catalogue came and i was flicking through and came across this...

Basically the same jumper on ASOS for £48!! Although I much prefer the Alexander Wang jumper (which i guess I would due to the price tag!) I'l happily settle for this!

Sale shopping yet again!

I seriously have the best mum in the world! She got me a few Oasis bits on the John Lewis website which came today. I actually loveee them! The dress above which is a rubbish picture i'm afraid! is digital print and is all in this season. Was £65 and we got it for £15. The top and leggings in the picture below were both £10. The top was originally £40 and the leggings were £18.

Then lastly is this purple and black striped top with the leggings which was £35 and I got it for £5.

So I managed to get all of this for £45 when it should of come to £158 it if wasn't in the sale.

When my mum told me they had some nice heels going really cheap in the sale on ASOS, I Couldn't resist a little peek, as I was going to get some heels for my friend for her birthday this weekend. So when I came across these beauties, I was pretty happy mainly at the fact they were only £8 and that they are lovely! So I decided to treat myself as I needed a new black pair and I got them for my friend aswell and they had them in both our sizes. They were even better in real life,the pictures aren't great but they have a purple strap over the foot which doesn't show very well, aswell as silver studs similar to those on my Mums Steve Madden wedges. Result :)

Chanel transfers anyone?

Transfer tattoos seem to be a big thing for this new season. Transfers and body paint were seen all over the S/S catwalks at Rodarte, Jean Paul Gaultier and then Chanel. I'm very excited that Chanel are launching the transfers in boutiques and at Selfridges counters from 1st March but no doubt there be sold out by the time I can get there! Transfers are said to be the new statement jewellery. Les Trompe L’œil de Chanel, set of 55 individual tattoos, £49 by Chanel. I think it's a very reasonable price and perfct for someone like me who would probably never have the guts to get a tattoo!

I can't wait for spring

I absolutely hate wrapping up in this horrid weather and wearing coats so you can't even show off your outfit!
Today I wore this top dress and thick brown tights. The top and dress only from New Look but when I bought it i thought it was really pretty and cute. I wore it with my black millitary boots but did want to wear my candy pink knitted Uggs but couldn't due to the horrid rain! The headband and necklace are also from New Look.

When I came in I was reading Grazia and came across this lovely jacket from Warehouse. It's £75 and would look lovely if you dressed it up. Perfect for this season!

So today I wore my orange Hollister polo shirt to school with jeans. I absolutely loveee polo shirts and is it me or has everyone found a new love and obsession for Hollister?! I know I have.

So when I came home today I was welcomed to yet another parcel which was in fact my new Lyle and Scott polo shirt which I got in the sale for £30! So I was happy until I found out they're now £20! Ahh why does that always happen?! Maybe I shouldn't have got a Debit card...

So I got in from school today and this is what I wore. My French connection badlashes top which I love and really want the jumper of! Then my French connection animal print leggings and my black flower necklace which isn't overly visable is from New Lookkk.
So when I got in I came across my River Island parcel that arrived today and i'm thinkingthat maybe me receiving a debit card wasn't the best idea as soon as I received it I went straight on to River Island and purchased this Hooded crop top and this amazingly cute panda beanie hat, whih i've wanted for a while now but haven't been able to get hold of it and it's been sold out everywhereeee! The hat wasn't in the sale and was £12.99 so still cheap! but the hooded top was £5 from £30 so yet another bargain I've picked up from there.

Ok, so I said i'd do an outfit post with my new heels so here it is. I forgot to take one specifically for this so I have this pic. I'm the blonde one on left. Yea i look horrid in it but never mind. My purple dress is by French connection in which they do in many diferent colours but the purple colour of the dress was specially made to celebrate 25 years of London fashion week. I purchased it in London and it's the first time i've worn it and I personally love it. It was really hard to get hold of and there were only a few sizes left as they were selling like hotcakes the only small size left was a 6, so that's what i had to get. Then my new heels. They are amazing but the word "killer heels" deffinately lived up to itself and i'm now suffering from a blister on the ball of my foot but as they say no pain, no gain!
