Draped Jackets

After seeing an article on Draped Jackets in last weeks Grazia, my Mum found one in the sale section of a local boutique last week, £39 reduced to only £10! I had seen it in the shop window before Xmas over a Lipsy top and I got the top but never the jacket, until now! It is black, in a microfibre fabric with brass circle embellishment round the edges. It is from a brand called Rise, which you can get in Dorothy Perkins and they also have their own website www.risefashion.co.uk Will you be wearing a Draped Jacket this Spring?

London Fashion Week

Sorry for not posting lately have had such a busy weekend and week with lots of homework nights out and a trip to London Fashion Week.
My mum got invited to a show and got sent 2 tickets so lucky for me I got to go along with her. The show was Falguni and Shane Peacock couture which was held at Bloomsbury Square. It was amazing to see a live catwalk show the clothes were also amazing just what I need for a night out clubbing! We also got to look around an exhibition and see some new designer ranges for Autumn and Winter.
After that we headed over to Somerset house where again my mum had been invited to the Boudoir lingerie event,by a company called Playful promises. It was so funny because when my mum got the invite I actually had a pair of their knickers on that I bought in Topshop last year! When we were checking in at reception one of the ladies gave me this London Fashion week bag, which I couldn't resist taking to school and showing off Monday morning!

All in all a really exciting day which will give me lots to put on my personal statement for uni.
Have you all had a good week and did any of you attend LFW or watch the live streamings?

One to Watch

I just wanted to tell you about my Mum's Fashion Blog. Along with all the usual fashion news (don't forget she knows her stuff, as is always buying clothes for me and my sisters)she has added three new sections 1. Spree v Steal, which shows a great coat similar to that just seen on the Marc Jacobs Runway 2. A Luxe for Less section which shows a current or future "on trend" item at a bargain price and 3. A High Street Pick of the Week item which currently features an Oasis dress which is in this weeks Grazia, which was £55 and is now reduced to £35. You can click on the garments to buy, to make shopping online even easier. Don't be put off by the Blog title or that she is my Mum, she has always had a Passion for Fashion and there is something for anyone of any age interested in Fashion, so add yourself as a follower to make sure you don't miss out!

Going out...

I thought i'd share some of my outfits from the weekend with you. Sorry the pictures aren't overly great to see the dresses.
The digital print dress is from Oasis. I love it. I even tried out purple lipstick with it, although you can't really see it in the pictures.
Then the other dress from the weekend is a black lace dress, I know you can't see it very well with me sitting down, but yet again I love it and I think it helps more that I got it for £10 i the River Island sale when I got all those bits with an extra 50% off, you can't go wrong! I think the detail and the lace on the sleeve really makes it aswel.
However, I need some new outfits.

Snow again.

Yet again it snowed, I wasn't amused when I woke up this morning and yet again didn't dress very sensibly but I did go for casual as only had 20 minutes to get ready this morning, woops.
Cardigan - French Connection
Top - ASOS
Jeggings - River Island
Flower - New Look
Necklace - Accessorize
Uggs boots
I must say I really don't know what i'd do without all my UGG's in all this horrid weather!

With the cold weather today probably not the most sensible ting to wear, but never mind!

Stardusted.

So 80's glamour seems to be fresh for Spring 2010. I like it because it's really cool and colourful which is perfect for the warmer weather. Here are some things on Asos that I have come across which I really like.
Pretty flower tights - £8
Stardust floral pink one shoulder silk dress - £45
Tropical print retro sunglasses - £10
Stripe bow tee - £18
Parrot across body bag - £15

Cute jewellery

Just purchased some jewellery on Accessorize. They have loads of cute pendants and stuff on there I couldn't pick what to get! So these are the things I did get. I absolutely love pretty stuff for my hair so obviously couldn't resist buying the corsage chain bando which was £8, the bracelet which is super cute was also £8 and the necklace I fell in love with! I'm a sucker for anything that involves Paris and the Eiffel Tower so obviously I couldn't resist and at only £6 how could i?!
